The film "We are happy" follows the lives of a couple going through a divorce. Ferhat and Asli, close friends, realise that they should be together after being unsuccessfully dumped by their lovers. In the third year of their marriage, their relationship goes from bad to worse. Ferhat informs Asli that they are going on holiday and takes her to a hotel that offers couples therapy, hoping it will help their relationship. This therapy, which Asli and Ferhat attend with other couples, turns into a fun and exciting adventure.
